I (Ryan) love being a father! Becoming a father was a major part of why we chose to start Collective Mind Technologies. When Lindsay was pregnant, I decided to dive into CMT full time and go for it! Being a father and running a business comes with great responsibility and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

We have been working with Admin Awards since 2019, creating engaging content to accompany their amazing events around the country. They honor administrative professional’s that are often overlooked, by hosting awards ceremonies in cities across the country.
The Admin Awards is the Administrative profession’s highest honor, created a decade ago by the daughter of a retired Executive Secretary. Often referred to as the ‘Academy Awards for Admins’, the Admin Awards is the first and only public recognition program of its kind in the country that focuses specifically on recognizing and rewarding the achievements, dedication and importance of Administrative professionals.
They are so much fun to work with and we love their mission. If you have administrative professionals that you would like to nominate, check out their website www.adminawards.com!
We all know that we need to backup our devices, but do we really? We live off of our technology for work and our personal lives- we would be lost without it. So, let’s protect it by keeping our data and content safe. We also recommend using icloud to backup your other Apple devices like iphones and ipads.
Here’s what to do:
Get a hard drive (if you don’t already have one).
Plug in the hard drive to your computer.
If you are backing up you Mac computer: open Time Machine settings>choose Apple menu > System Settings> click General in the sidebar> then click Time Machine on the right.
In Time Machine settings, select your hard drive as your backup destination, click the add (+) button and follow the instructions.
Once it’s completed, set a reminder in your calendar or project management tool you use (like Asana) to backup your computer again in 30 days and repeat this process monthly! 📆
