CMT began as an Apple technical support company, supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses and individuals. With our combined backgrounds in tech and video production, we began getting inquires for video editing, video production and photography. CMT took on a natural progression of offering both technical support as well as video production to our clients. It may be a unique mix of services offered from one company, but our team of experts all share the same goal- to help you and your business take it to the next level. 

So now, a handful of years later, we have built our team of experts to continue supporting our clients with IT Support, Technology consulting, NetSuite consulting, Data recovery, Video production, Photography, Drone services and Content generation.

Q: When do I upgrade my computer?

A: When your current computer no longer supports the programs you’re running. This can either be due to software updates, memory needed or speed. 

Q: What is the best computer for my business?

A: The best computer is the one you are able to afford, do your job best and supports your job. If you have a lower budget, a Mac mini or Macbook air are great options. If your job is processing intensive such as video editing, audio engineering, motion graphics, etc., I would suggest a Macbook Pro, iMac or Mac Studio. If your job is mobile, a Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, or possibly an iPad could support your job best. If you’re stationary and need power, I would consider an iMac, Mac Mini or Mac Studio. If you need the most powerful Mac available, you will either need an upgrade Mac Studio or Mac Pro. Once the Apple Vision Pro is released, this will be the best option for your AR/VR needs.

Q: How do I make sure I am backing up my data?

A: Backing up your data is easier than ever! We recommend for iPhones and iPads to use iCloud backups. For any Mac, we recommend using Time Machine using a SSD drive.

• Health + Wellness: Install apps on your phone that help you stay fit and healthy. If you have an iphone the Health app is already there- you can use this to track your steps and workouts to keep you motivated and healthy. 
• Digital Detox: Consider taking periodic breaks from your devices, especially during weekends or vacations. Disconnecting from screens can help reduce stress and improve focus. 
• Automate Repetitive Tasks: Take advantage of automation features on your devices to save time and effort on repetitive tasks. This could include setting up email filters, using text expansion tools, or creating automated workflows.
• Privacy and Security: Keep your devices and accounts secure by using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication and being cautious about sharing personal information online.
