2019 has been an eventful year to say the least. Alongside the day to day of running a business and raising our daughter, Lucy, we started a “side hustle” as Airbnb hosts in January. Lindsay officially joined Collective Mind Technologies, leaving her job at Denver Academy in February. We traveled to Hawaii (Lucy’s first trip!) to film a wedding of our close friends in March. Ryan celebrated his 1 year anniversary of full time entrepreneurship in May. Lucy turned 1 in September. We celebrated our 3 year anniversary in September.

As any entrepreneur or parent knows, the first year (of both entrepreneurship and parenthood) is full of uncertainty, challenges and excitement. Starting Collective Mind Technologies has been such a great adventure for us personally, professionally and as a family. We have learned so much about running a business, working together as a couple, and constantly adapting to our new lives. When we decided to start our own company, we had no idea that it would evolve into the business it is today. Our ultimate goal was to spend as much time with Lucy and to be happy. Collective Mind Technologies may have started out with the focus of tech support services, but it has quickly grown to include wedding videography, video production, Netsuite services, photography and social media content creation. We are happy to say, we have so far reached our goals of raising our family together and enjoying our work life. We have so many more goals and dreams and can’t wait to see where 2020 takes us!
