We all know how important social media is these days. It can be hard to keep up with the ever changing trends. Here are a few tips for creating your own content:
Shoot Vertically – if you are planning to post your photos or videos in a reel, in stories or on TikTok, turn the camera vertically to fill the screen for best viewing.
Basic Video Editing Tips – Video is becoming the norm these days. It can be intimidating if you are new to creating videos. If you use an Apple product, iMovie is a free, easy to use app. You can trim down your video, make your audio louder or take it out all together, layer a different video over someone talking, or add in some simple transitions between clips. We are here to help with more advanced needs, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
Lighting Tips – Lighting is so important with great quality photos and video. Using natural light is key – don’t sit right in front of a bright window or you will be backlit. Instead sit across from the bright window and let the natural light brighten up your face or subject you are shooting. If you’re shooting outside, the Golden Hour is a great time of day to get the best shots.
